Report designs¶
Preamble¶
The report designs are “.rptdesign” files generated by the open-source tool, BIRT (Business Intelligence Reporting Tool).
Each RPTDESIGN file used in the Centreon MBI module creates a report design. This may be configured in order to be able to generate a report depending on:
Centreon objects (hosts, services, host groups, service groups, business activities, etc.)
The selected period (monthly report, weekly report, etc.)
etc
Each report design can have various parameters and they must be defined using the Centreon interface.
Available reports¶
The following menu lists the report designs that are available on Centreon MBI:
Rapports > Business Intelligence > Configuration > Report Designs

Adding / editing¶
A new report design can be edited or added:

Note
Only Centreon administrators are authorised to modify or add a new report design. Users without any privileges are only authorised to look for information related to these report designs.
Actions menu¶
The menu “More actions” allows to do several actions on the report designs:
