Centreon MAP 4.4.0

Released April 2018.

This version 4.4 adds new features and enhancements for Centreon MAP viewing. It also fixed some instabilities in previous versions.

Note

Your 4.2 or 4.3 Desktop Client will not automatically be updated. Make sure to download the 4.4 version.

New features

  • Acknowledgement and downtime icons have been added to the “weather” style.

  • (web) When hovering your mouse over a status link, metric link, a service or a metaservice, you now obtain detailed information in a well-designed pop-up providing useful information to determine the impact of a status/color. This pop-up is maintained throughout mouseover so that you can visualize acknowledgement, downtime, duration information, etc.

  • (desktop) You can now hide resources already positionned at any level of the current view.

  • (desktop) Hovering your mouse over an image in the media panel allows previewing.

Improvements

  • A legend element for metric links has been added.

  • (desktop) Optimized thread management: loading of views and components has been improved, with fewer freezes for the desktop client. However, status/data may take longer to display in views.

Fixes

  • Empty CSS cache after any update.

  • Disabled elements no longer impact upper levels.

  • Media between Centreon and Centreon MAP are correctly sychronized.

  • The property “display status on font” is now correctly applied on the web client.

  • The name of an element is now displayed in the breadcrumb in all cases (e.g., if label is hidden).
