Access restrictions (ACL)¶
It is possible to restrict viewing of reports generated for specific groups. For this it is necessary to configure Access Control List (ACL).
Report template limitation enables you to :
Enable a user to select report templates when creating a new job
Jobs limitation enables you to :
Enable a user to see generated reports (page “Report View”)
Enable a user to see jobs , create and modify them (page “Jobs”)
Enable a user to receive generated reports by mail
To manage Centreon MBI’s rules, go to the following page :
Administration > ACL > Centreon MBI > ACL Rules

When modifying or adding a new rule, a form with 3 tab appears :
On the tab “General informations”, access groups are listed. It’s possible to add theme to the rule.

On the “report designs” tab, it’s possible to link report models and report models groups to the rule.

On the last tab “Jobs”, it’s possible to link scheduled jobs to a rule. If no report template has been selected in the previous tab, no scheduled task will appear in this tab.

Note: A non-administrator can’t receive notifications about report generation if it is not related to the corresponding ACL rule, even if he is associated (by contact group) with the scheduled job.
It’s possible to give access to other menus to a limited user, he’ll be in read-only mode for the following pages :
Job groups
Report designs
Report design groups
Logos
Publication rules
We highly recommand not to give access to the “General option” page to a limited user so that he can’t modify the configuration.
